BEEM uses certain technologies on its website www.watchbeem.com (hereinafter, the “Service”) to bring together information we may collect from your device or we may store in your device which helps us improve your online experience.

Cookies may store a small amount of data on your device about your visit to the website. They are widely used in order to make websites and software applications work or work more efficiently. We do not use third-parties analytics cookies. The purpose of the analytics cookies that we use are the following  (i) the audience measurement of the content viewed in order to allow the evaluation of the published content and the ergonomics of the website or the app; (ii) the audience segmentation of the website in cohorts in order to assess the effectiveness of the editorial choices, without this leading to targeting a single person; (iii) the dynamic modification of a site in a global manner and also (iv) to improve our service and product based on observation of users aggregated behaviour.

The use of these cookies is limited to the production of anonymous statistics, to carry out studies of funnels/website and to analyse users aggregated behaviour on the platform.

Moreover, we use Google Analytics not only to identify you, but also for analytic purposes in order to improve the Service and to offer you a better experience. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse the use of our online content by the users and to compile reports on activities within the online content in order to perform further services associated with the use of this online content for us. 

As part of this process, pseudonymous user profiles for the users can be created from the processed data. 

The IP address transmitted from the user’s browser is not combined with other data by Google. 

We also use (i) Segment technology which allows us to improve the collection of data on our website and to share it through an efficient way amongst our team,  (ii) Mixpanel technology which analyses user’s behaviour across websites and (iii) Intercom technology (providing chatbots and live chat tools used by our Services). Segment, Mixpanel and Intercom store cookies in your device to that effect; by doing so, they will collect information pertaining to your browsing activity on our website.

Functionality Cookies. These cookies collect information about your choices and preferences, allowing us to remember the choices you make on the Service and to provide enhanced and more personalized feature (e.g. remembering language or other local settings). All of these features help us to customize your visit to the Service accordingly.

Targeting or Advertising Cookies. We and our service providers may use targeting or advertising cookies to be able to provide marketing which are more relevant to you and your interests (hereinafter referred to as “third parties advertising cookies” when provided by our service providers). This is done, by us uploading a customer list to another party or incorporating a pixel from another party into our own Service, and the other party matching common factors between our data and their data or other datasets. For instance, we incorporate the Facebook pixel on our Service and may share your email address with Facebook as part of our use of Facebook Custom Audiences.

Most of the companies we work with to have them provide you with targeted ads (third parties advertising cookies) are participants of the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) and/or the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”). 


HOW DO THIRD PARTIES USE COOKIES ON THE SITE?


Due to third-party applications integrated into our website (in particular Facebook sharing button), certain Cookies may be issued by third parties and the issue and use of Cookies by these third parties are subject to their own privacy policies. We inform you of the purpose of the Cookies of which we are aware and of the means at your disposal to make choices with regard to these Cookies.
